Do you have a real passion for film making? Humorous as well as tragic?

This is the occasion to take part in this leading animation of the MANGA EXPO! Show us what you can do and enjoy performing your own creation!

In competition with other film makers, you will be assessed on the quality of the sound and picture montage, on the originality of the scenario and on the performance of the actors by a jury of professionals.

EIGA…WHAT?

This expression stems from the mix of the words Eiga and Amateur. It consists in a competition between home film-makers who are creating short films. These films can be tragic as well as funny but have to respect a determined topic.
The participants are assessed by a commitee of professionals on the quality of the sound and picture montage, on the originality of the scenario and on the performance of the actors.


YOU ARE ITCHING TO PARTICIPATE?

This year, the eigamateur will be once more organized by the association Une Case en Moins.


You will have to respect a certain limitation of time and a determined topic for each film.

A preselection of short films will be undertaken before the event. And the finalists of this first selection will have the honour to let the public discover their masterpiece during the MANGA EXPO. They will be assessed by a commitee of professionals that will determine the 3 winners. These winners will get a “golden Aru”, a “silver Aru”, and a “bronze Aru”.


YOU ARE NOT FILM MAKER BUT MOVIE-GOER

You will have the possibility to attend the projection of the short films during the MANGA EXPO.
The projection of short films will take place in the amphitheatre of 750 seating. The eigamateur competition deserves a real cinema room!
So, don’t be late at the showing because the room will be probably completely crowded!
